It was a foggy day in Los Osos, but that didn't stop Shane and Kennedy from having the most amazing, authentic, fun, and laid-back wedding at the Los Osos Back Bay Inn. The two surfers, who are deeply rooted in their Los Osos and Morro Bay (aka, Estero Bay) community, had a wedding that was full of fun, laughter, and epic live music.

Shane and Kennedy met at “WOW-A-RAMA”, the signature welcome event for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo freshmen. It was love at first sight for Kennedy as she “mounted her mustang” … a very cheeky part of a longstanding Cal Poly game. After years of pursuing each other, starting a thriving summer camp called Morro Bay Little Guards, and starting amazing careers in first response and in teaching...they finally got freakin’ married!

The day started off with a bit of mist in the air, but as the ceremony approached, the sun started to peek through the clouds. Shane and Kennedy exchanged vows on the beautiful lawn of the inn with beautiful views of the Los Osos back bay, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, and you could see the love and connection these two have for each other in every glance and touch.

After the ceremony, we all headed under the tent for the reception, where a lively band was waiting to play some upbeat music and get the party started. Shane and Kennedy are both huge music lovers, and they chose a band that would keep the energy high and the dance floor packed. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The dance floor was packed all night, and everyone was having a blast.

But what really stood out to me at this wedding was the incredible paella that was served as the main course. Shane and Kennedy are both big foodies, and they wanted to make sure that their guests had an amazing dining experience. The paella was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. It was a great way to bring everyone together and enjoy a meal together as a community.

All in all, Shane and Kennedy's wedding was a true reflection of who they are as a couple and as individuals. It was filled with love, laughter, and a deep sense of community. I am so grateful to have been able to capture these moments for them, and I know that these photos will be treasured for years to come.
